Electronic Technology

Driving Innovation for a Fast-Changing Future

Electronic Technology is not the same field it was 10 years ago… and it won’t be the same field 10 years from now. It’s a dynamic and developing industry that’s leading the way for growth across industrial, communications, medical and entertainment sectors.

In fact, with electronic devices getting more complex and more critical, the need for well-educated career professionals is growing in virtually all industries. Electronic Technology graduates from Irvine Valley College go on to a wide variety of rewarding careers in the energetic Los Angeles/Orange County economic region.

Through laboratory and classroom instruction, IVC students learn to troubleshoot, repair, design, and manufacture today's electronic equipment, learning workforce-ready skills from industry-experienced faculty. Curriculum includes hands-on work with computers, communications devices, medical equipment, automotive and industrial equipment and more, leading to immediate employment.
